With the Cannes 2019 International Film Festival on in full swing, our favourite Bollywood A-listers waked the red carpet and made India proud. Though their outfits were vastly different, their thought process was similar for they all picked white!

They are always making and setting new trends for the industry and their stylists ensure they are always one step ahead of the others. Time and again, these actresses have proved themselves not only on the red carpet but also off it. And despite them being competitors, they turned on maximum heat on the red carpet There was one thing in common with all the desi stars who walked the red carpet this year. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kangana Ranaut and Sonam Kapoor, all picked white to walk on the red carpet! Take a look below.
The Padmaavat actress wowed everybody with her first red carpet appearance this year. She opted for a chic white gown with an oversized black bow by friend and designer Peter Dundas. Her look mad everybody’s jaw drop for she looked extremely fierce and sexy on the red carpet.
Bollywood’s very own Queen, look nothing less than the role at Cannes. Her choice was an elegant and regal gown by Michael Cinco that had a long train She definitely made it to the list of best dressed celebrities of the night that she walked the carpet.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Our very own desi girl also hopped on the bandwagon in a lavish ruffled gown by Georges Hobeika alongside beau Nick Jonas who also matched with her. She looked no less than an elegant princes in the delicate piece!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Following suit, Mrs. Bachchan left no stone unturned in bringing her A game to the red carpet. India’s Queen of Cannes picked a white ruffled and feathered gown by Ashi Studio and showed everybody how its done!
Sonam K Ahuja
A setter rather than a follower of trends, Mrs. Ahuja already knew the colour of the season and ensured her fashion game was on point. Though she didn’t opt for a gown, her stunning custom made Pantsuit by Ralph and Russo was a clean white. The fashionista of India showed us one doesn’t need a gown on the red carpet to make a solid statement.
